 Lee Kum Kee (LKK) Hong Kong Style Sweet & Sour Stir-fry Sauce

This classic and authentic Sweet & Sour sauce is specially blended with pineapple juice and tomato paste for you to create the most popular Chinese restaurant flavour at home. Also great as a dipping sauce for finger food.

Serves: 2 servings
 
Simple
Just Add:
150g pork filet (cut into bite sized pieces)
½ small red and green bell pepper (diced)
2 sliced of canned pineapple (drained and cut into pieces)
4 Tbsp self-raising flour
1 pack Sweet & Sour Stir-fry Sauce (80g)
250ml cooking oil for deep-fry
1 Tbsp cooking oil for stir-fry
 
Easy
1. Mix pork with marinade and set aside.
2. Coat the pork with self-raising flour then deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown and cooked. Take out and drained.
3. In a wok saute peppers in 1 Tbsp oil the add the pack of sauce and pineapple until hot. Add the pork, mix well then serve.
 
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, consume immediately.

Sweet & Sour Pork / Spare Ribs (Serves 4):
Ingredients:
150g/5 oz pork fillet / spare ribs (cut into pieces), 1/2 red bell pepper (cut into pieces), 2 slices canned pineapple (drained & cut into pieces), some corn starch, 1 pack Lee Kum Kee Sauce For Sweet and Sour Pork / Spare Ribs (80g/2.8 oz)
Procedures:
1. Mix pork fillet with marinade (1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp beaten egg)
2. Dust pork fillet with corn starch and deep-fry in hot oil until golden yellow and done. Drain
3. Saute red bell pepper and pineapple in 1 tbsp oil. Add Lee Kum Kee Sauce For Sweet And Sour Pork / Spare Ribs and heat through. Add pork fillet and stir well
 
Also good for chicken fillet, prawn, fish fillet.
