Wakame setang is widely used in Asian cuisine, especially Japanese and Korean cuisine and it is an umami and spicy flavor source. Wakame is very rich in fiber and is used in many Japanese dishes for soups, salads, meat and vegetable dishes.
Directions:
Cut desired amount of wakame to be used and soak in cold water for 4 to 6 minutes, or until rehydrated and desired tenderness is reached. Drain well. Add to soups and salads as desired.
