BDMP Frozen Banana Leaves 400g

Banana leaves are used as a natural receptacle for sweets and snacks and also as a wrapper for both cooked and raw foods all over tropical Asia.

Preparing Frozen Banana Leaves:

Thaw for approximately two hours at room temperature.
Remove the number of leaves needed and reseal and freeze the rest.
Rinse in cold water to soften and remove any debris.
Wipe with a cloth on both sides to dry.
Using a pair of scissors, remove any yellow colored leaf and tears along the perimeter. Use the banana leaves for lining a steamer tray, wrapping a whole fish for grilling or to prepare banana leaf cups for steaming sweet or savory dishes.
